Not going to lie, this was probably the most nerve-racking project I have ever worked on. Jo Evans is Texas A&M Softball. She leaves an amazing impact on everyone that she meets. I still remember the day I met her in the 5th grade. I attended an Aggie Softball camp and by the time the camp was over I ended up getting her bobble head from the campus store because she was so cool. She's a coach that everyone wants to play for because she respects the game unlike anyone in the softball world, which is why I wanted this video to be perfect. I wanted people at the NFCA Hall of Fame Induction to know exactly who she is and the impact she has left on every ball club she was been a part of.
The hardest part about this project was documenting her entire coaching career in a 7 minute video. She has accomplished so much in her career, I didn't want to leave anything out. However, I had some help. I wouldn't have been able to complete this project without her best friend and assistant coach, Joy Jackson. She gave me a folder completely full of newspaper clippings that Jo had kept throughout the years, so I was able to track down the pivotal coaching moments in her career and include them in the video.
