The development of an on-line continuing education course on One Coat Stucco is now available for architects and other design professionals.
Architects viewing the hour-long presentation, "One Coat Stucco: The Most Efficient Stucco System Available" and who take the test can receive one-hour credit toward their annual continuing education requirements for their license. The course also has HSW credit. It has been certified by the American Institute of Architects Continuing Education Services.
The course was developed by the National One Coat Stucco Association (NOCSA) in cooperation with Ron Blank & Associates (RBA). Ron Blank & Associates are a Registered Provider for the American Institute of Architects Continuing Education Services (AIA-ES). Its development was not only funded by NOCSA but also the on-going monthly costs of promotion and distribution.
The course goes into detail about stucco and the differences in other stucco systems and shows the process of substrates to the finishes.
Architects may view the course by logging on to Ron Blank
Several manufacturers who have viewed the presentation agree this will help architects and design professionals to better understand One Coat Stucco and will result in more projects being specified with it. As one manufacturer pointed out this is one of the most significant developments in the history of the Industry.
The Association will follow up with those completing the course with additional information on the Industry and its manufacturing members. The architects will also be offered a generic specification for One Coat Stucco that was developed by the Association.
